Action Buttons
Once all mandatory fields are filled:
Submit – Saves the voyage details
Publish – Publishes the voyage, making it available for booking
Voyages appear on the dashboard differently depending on whether they are published or not. This guideline explains how users can identify a draft voyage and a published voyage from the dashboard.
After creating and saving a voyage, it is stored in the system as a Draft Voyage.
Voyage route (Departure → Arrival)
Vessel name and IMO number
Departure and arrival dates
Transit time
Publish field displays a dash (–)
The dash (–) in the Publish field indicates that the voyage is not yet published
Draft voyages are visible only for review and confirmation
Draft voyages cannot be used for booking or RFQ finalization
Users can still edit voyage details at this stage
Once all voyage details are verified:
Click the Publish button
The system validates the voyage information
If validation is successful, the voyage is published
After publishing, the voyage becomes active and live.
What users will see on the dashboard:
Voyage name and code
Route details (Departure → Arrival)
Vessel name and IMO number
Final departure and arrival dates
Transit time
Publish field displays the date and time of publishing
Publish = – → Voyage is in Draft status
Publish = Date & Time → Voyage is Published and Active
Once a voyage is published, it is treated as a confirmed record in the system. For this reason, editing is disabled after publishing.
| NOTE: Publish only when the voyage details are complete and correct. |
